I'll be in the States at this time and just checked prices of internal flights for either Phoenix to Seattle or Vegas to Carolina.
But both work out too expensive to make it worth while altering my plans.

My sister and brother live there. Try to be more British than Britain in some ways, sometimes with decent results.
Some great camping and fishing spots up island and decent a harbour scene in Victoria. My brother in law busked down there before his band sort of took off.
Decent surfing up the island in Tofino and you might catch days without rain in July.

also if anyone is making the trip to seattle, do yourself a favor and check out vancouver island and the adjacent gulf islands. Victoria is both an ecological wonder and an architectural time warp back to the British empire days. It is well worth the effort. The restaurant at the ferry port on Saturna also makes the best fish and chips I've ever had (by some margin).

If we finish 7th and Man Utd win the cup we will be playing in the Europa league 3rd Qualifying round. These take part on 28th July and 4th August. If we finish 6th and Crystal Palace win the Cup then we also enter at the 3rd Qualifying round. The next round the Play off round with the CL Qualifying round play off loser's (!!!!) takes place on the 18th and 25th August If we finish 6th and Man Utd win the FA Cup we enter the Group stage. If we finish 5th then we also enter the group stage. The group stages start 15th and 19th September.
If we are involved in the 3rd qualifying round our pre-season is fucked. This US tour may not happen. Any players involved in EURO 2016 will almost certainly not be involved. This finishes on July 10th. Players involved would probably not return to training until late July or early August. No Payet or big money signings for sure.
Therefore for this to work out for the team and Bilic to have a completely full pre-season and time off, it would be best for us to finish no lower than 6th and Man Utd to win the FA Cup.
In a way I would like us to enter the 3rd qualifying round of the EL, this way we could see any new signings and the younger players especially Cullen,Burke and Oxford stake a real claim for a place in the 18 first team line-up.
Beat Stoke for sure but if Man Utd win then it won't be so bad. Better to have meaningful games the piss poor friendlies

I would imagine part of the thought process is to get a bit of bonding going with the squad and any new additions.
